Be the difference for people with dementia. Support us this Festive Season

Christmas 2023

Need a last minute Christmas gift for him, her or someone just difficult to buy for?

Give a gift from the heart with a gift donation in their name to help deliver vital services (or the odd treat!) to people living with Dementia and their families in Manchester and Trafford.

When you donate to us during December, fill in your details below to receive a personalised Christmas card to present to a gift recipient on Christmas Day. The card will contain information about your donation, and let them know what your donation in their name may make possible for our service users.

The deadline for Christmas Cards is Monday 20th December. Any orders received after this date may not arrive in time for Christmas!

£8

A donation of £8 could help a member attend their group with transport

Our members face many difficulties in many different ways, and we help them in whatever way we can. We are only partially funded for the delivery of our groups, so cannot provide our services for free.

Help a person living with dementia to attend their group with a small contribution that will have a huge impact!

£10

A donation of £10 could secure a home visit for a vulnerable person for 2 weeks

Not everyone is able to attend our groups every week, so we began our Together at Home service to try and ensure members & carers unable to attend groups at a venue would still get access to fun, social, creative and physical activities.

Your donation could secure a visit with activities and exercise for two weeks, making a huge different for people unable to get out and about.

£15

A donation of £15 could buy books & resources for our Little Dementia Library

We have compiled a 'Little Dementia Library' of books, pamphlets and useful resources for members & carers to borrow and learn from.

Your donation could buy more books and resources, helping to enrich and expand our service users' understanding of dementia and improve the wealth of information we can provide.

£20

A donation of £20 will buy bulbs & planting materials for our members

We have lots of green-fingered members in our groups who love planting seeds and bulbs and watching them grow!

Your donation could provide everything a group needs for planting some beautiful flowers or tasty vegetables to nurture and grow.

£25

A donation of £25 could buy arts & crafts materials for our members

Creative activities are fun for everybody! We do a range of activities at our groups for members to take part in, including painting, sculpting, felting, knitting, printing and card making.

Gifting some arts & crafts supplies will have our members happily crafting, making beautiful creations for themselves and their loved ones!

£30

A donation of £30 could fuel our transport for a whole week

Together Dementia Support owns two passenger vehicles so that we can pick up our members from their homes, take them to groups, then take them safely back home again afterwards.

Our transport is a vital part of our service, ensuring that people who would not normally be able to get out can access our groups for socialising, having fun, exercising and learning new skills.

£40

A donation of £40 could get 3 carers out and relaxed with an afternoon tea

Our carers are always deserving of a break and some time to chat and socialise with others in similar circumstances.

We could take three carers for an afternoon tea or treat to enjoy some good food, some good company, share stories and get some all-important R&R.

£50

A donation of £50 could go toward a day trip out for an adventurous group

Our groups love getting out and about to local beauty spots such as Dunham Massey and the RHS Bridgewater Gardens. We also venture further afield, with trips out to Blackpool!

Your donation could make a huge difference to our service users, getting them out and about to places they normally wouldn't be able to get to.
