Strictly speaking the first day of Advent this year is 3rd December, the first Sunday of 4 in advent. However, most advent calendars start today. Advent is a time for looking forward and begins the count down to the Christmas festivities. At TDS our groups will be getting into the holiday mood with parties and Christmas themed activities, making wreaths, listening to seasonal music, remembering Christmases past or eating mince pies.
