Dementia has no regard for age, gender, religion or race. It can affect any of us. Hence, our community of people living with dementia is diverse. Our groups welcome and include White, Black, West Indian, South Asian and many others who join in activities together and celebrate those things we have in common, whilst acknowledging different backgrounds and cultures. Our staff and volunteers also reflect this diverse background, and we are grateful to the richness that they bring to our work.
