AMANDA WOODVINE, Chair of Trustees

Amanda brings around two decades’ experience of NGO governance and operations, including community engagement, advocacy, campaigns, publishing, and marketing. Since 2014, she has worked as Chief Executive of a small national charity working on behalf of older adults.

JEFF SENEVIRATNE

Jeff became associated with Together Dementia Support when his wife, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014, became a founder member of the Fabulous Forgetful Friends. He has continued to campaign for improvements in support for people living with Dementia and their carers since his wife's death in early 2020, and is a member of the Dementia Carers' Expert Reference Group advising the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership on its Dementia United programme. Jeff worked in the NHS as a non-medical Pathologist until his retirement. He had been a Director and Chair of the South Manchester Credit Union, and was on eof the founders of the Didsbury Beer Festival.

LISA PEARSON

Lisa joined TDS as a Trustee in 2023 and has a marketing, business development and income generation background. Both of Lisa’s nans suffered with dementia so when she read about the work we do she was keen to be involved and to use her 20+ years’ experience to help TDS grow and reach more people living with dementia.

NORMA STEWART

Norma is pleased to join the Board of Trustees at Together Dementia Support. She is excited to be involved with their core principles, values and plans to ensure the brilliant services we deliver to people living with dementia are fit for purpose and sustainable. 

Having supported and advocated for her mother, who has been living with Alzehimer's dementia for over 5 years, Norma had no hesitation when the opportunity to become a Trustee came up. 

Norma is committed to work with the team of TDS Trustees, staff and volunteers in order to fulfil their whole-family approach. She has been employed in a local GM council for over 20 years. She has extensive experience in Safeguarding and brings a diverse skillset to the Board of Trustees.

OYETUNDO OYEDEPO

Oyetunde is a chartered accountant with over 9 years experience providing external audit service to clients in various industries, including Not for profits. He is an audit manager in one of the top 10 accounting firms in the UK, a coach to many young and aspiring leaders. 


He started his career in Nigeria in a boutique accountancy firm, later joined one of the big four firms in Nigeria and has successfully made a career as an auditor in the UK in the last 6 years.


Aside from providing services to businesses, he is an advocate for diversity and inclusion within organisations and passionate about helping people to thrive by recognising their unique abilities.

Faiza Chaudri

FAIZA CHAUDHRI

Faiza is a community engagement specialist with a background in public health and health equity. She currently leads improvements in breast cancer screening and works with BHA for Equality on the Answer Cancer project, focusing on underserved communities.

Faiza has over a decade of NHS experience and has delivered a wide range of public health initiatives, particularly with BAME communities. She also supports inclusion in schools through workshops on discrimination and diversity with We Stand Together.

A former staff member at Together Dementia Support, Faiza developed Pyaari Yaadein, one of the Northwest’s first South Asian dementia support groups.

She is also a freelance trainer, fundraiser, and runs Gluten-free the Desi Way, a blog supporting South Asians with coeliac disease.

Jack Selman

JACK SELMAN

Jack joined Together Dementia Support as a Trustee in 2025. With more than 10 years experience in operations, transformation and strategy,  Jack brings a practical, people-focused approach to his work. Motivated by personal experience with dementia, he’s passionate about using his skills to support inclusive, community-led services that make a real difference to people living with dementia and their carers.

Emily Helm

EMILY HELM

Emily joined the board of trustees in September 2025. She is a solicitor specialising in employment law, with six years’ experience working both in private practice and in-house legal teams across a range of companies. Emily is passionate about supporting people and hopes to use her legal expertise to contribute meaningfully to the charity’s mission.


Having first-hand experience of caring responsibilities, Emily brings a personal understanding of the challenges faced by those supporting loved ones with dementia. She is committed to helping create a compassionate and informed environment for people living with dementia and their families.
