Meet the team
JEFF SENEVIRATNE, Chair of Trustees
Jeff Seneviratne became associated with Together Dementia Support when his wife, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014, became a founder member of the Fabulous Forgetful Friends. He has continued to campaign for improvements in support for people living with Dementia and their carers since his wife's death in early 2020, and is a member of the Dementia Carers' Expert Reference Group advising the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership on its Dementia United programme. Jeff worked in the NHS as a non-medical Pathologist until his retirement. He had been a Director and Chair of the South Manchester Credit Union, and was on eof the founders of the Didsbury Beer Festival.

RICHARD HATLEY
Richard is delighted to be joining Together Dementia Support as a Trustee, and brings with him over 20 years of experience in large, national organisations in the Retail and Funeral Care sectors. He lives in Marple with his family, enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, and has always looked to support fundraising activities for initiatives similar to our charity. Richard became a Trustee to make a real difference to the lives of people living with Dementia and their families in Manchester and Trafford.

JOHN TUPMAN
John is a recently retired accountant and has over 40 years' experience in Finance, mainly in industry for international groups. He has a degree in Economics and is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He gained experience as a Trustee on the Company's defined Benefit Pension Scheme Board.

JOHN SMITH
John recently joined Together Dementia Support as a Trustee after retiring from Industry where he worked with leading Financial Services organisations and Consultancies delivering technology enabled change to help improve customer experience and value for money.
John wanted to support Together Dementia Support after seeing the painful journey his mother Vera and his mother in law Rhoda lived through with dementia and related conditions. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a lifelong Liverpool FC fan.
