Our Dementia
Lending Library

We have a selection of books that we recommend to our members, carers, volunteers and staff about living positively with Dementia, the science and history of the condition, and books by people living with Dementia. 

If you would like to view our selection of books or borrow any, please give us a call before dropping in to see us.

Training Courses for Carers

We regularly run training for carers who are at any point in their Dementia care journey to help them prepare to and feel confident caring for their loved ones. 

Caring training takes place over five weeks, and covers topics such as "What is Dementia?", benefits and legal matters, activities to do at home, communication techniques and taking care of yourself.

Dementia Awareness Training

We offer training for organisations, community groups and members of the public so they can improve their knowledge around Dementia and become more aware of the positives and the challenges of living with Dementia. 

If you are interested in booking one of our Dementia Awareness Training sessions for your organisation or community group, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
