“I’m losing myself in the role of a carer”: One carer’s story

Data security update
Together Dementia Support recently identified a data security incident affecting Beacon CRM, a third-party supplier we use to store some of our records. We're publishing this notice for anyone who hasn't yet heard from us directly. The person I care for has to go into a care home - who pays for this?
The short answer is that if the person who is going into a care home lives in England, unless they have a capital of less than £23,250, they will not be eligible for help from the Local Authority.
