Dave Egerton Big Band Concert for TDS

Swing back into musical history to an era of big band, Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra and Vera Lynn with the Dave Egerton Band!  

Manchester's leading amateur band play a bit of everything, from the Beatles to the Beach Boys, the Temptations to Amy Winehouse, and Glen Miller to the modern jazz of Caro Emerald.   Join us from 2.30pm on Sunday 12 March 2023 at Christ Church South Manchester for a fun-filled event in aid of Together Dementia Support, celebrating the music that still defines generations while raising money for a fantastic cause. There will be a delicious cake stall and refreshments available throughout the event.

 Tickets cost £8pp plus website booking fee.

Together Dementia Support were established to help people to live positively with Dementia in Manchester and Trafford. 427,000 people in England are living with Dementia, and an estimated 5,000 of these are in the Manchester area. We support people to live actively, socially and positively, with support for both people living with Dementia and their loved ones. 

Since being established in 2014, TDS has supported over 600 people living with Dementia and their loved ones. We currently have over 150 members who we support week in, week out, 52 weeks a year.  Our dedicated team of Dementia Group Leaders and volunteers are the lifeblood of our service, working to improve physical and mental health and enable people to live positively with Dementia.   For people living with Dementia, we offer a range of activities such as social groups, walking groups, arts & crafts, music and games groups, as well as one-to-one at home social activity support.
