We'll be celebrating 10 years of enabling Manchester people to live better with dementia at the prestigious Manchester Central Library on Friday 6 September 2024.
HEAR FROM OUR MEMBERS Learn about the lives and experiences of people living with dementia and their family carers directly from them EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF MUSIC There will be uplifting performances from our Together in Song Dementia Choir KEYNOTE PRESENTATION Our keynote will be delivered by Dr Ross Dunne, Clinical Director of the Dementia Research Centre. He'll be talking about brain health and prevention of dementia, and the latest in treatments for Alzheimer's We'll explore how local employers can support their employees with caring responsibilities, and Helen Pratt from Dementia United will talk about the current dementia care and research landscape. A free light lunch will be provided at the start of the event, and refreshments available throughout. Registration is open until 30 August 2024!
