Derbyshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Saturday 8th August

Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge
Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge

Take on an unforgettable challenge in the Peak District and help raise vital funds to support our work.

We’ve got 20 places available for this fully guided trek across Derbyshire’s highest peaks. It’s a tough day, but incredibly rewarding – and you’ll be supported every step of the way by experienced leaders from Tink Adventures.

The challenge

You’ll take on a 33km route covering:

  • Kinder Scout (633m)

  • Bleaklow (633m)

  • Higher Shelf Stones (621m)

Expect a full day of walking across wild moorland, rocky paths and some of the most stunning scenery in the Peak District.

Event details

  • Date: Saturday 8th August

  • Start time: 8:00 am meet (8:30 am start)

  • Finish: Around 6:00 pm

  • Location: Hayfield (Sett Valley Trail Car Park, SK22 2ES)

  • Parking: £7 for the day

You’ll be guided by a team of three qualified leaders, with support available at key points along the route.

How fundraising works

There’s no sign-up fee – we just ask that you raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship.

This helps cover the cost of running the challenge and ensures your efforts make a real difference. Most people aim for £200 or more, and we’ll support you with ideas and tips to help you get there.

Is it for me?

This is a challenging hike, so you’ll need a reasonable level of fitness. We’ll keep a steady pace and make sure no one is left behind, but it’s not a casual stroll.

What you’ll need

  • Walking boots (no trainers)

  • Waterproofs and warm layers

  • At least 2 litres of water

  • Packed lunch and snacks

  • Small rucksack

  • Fully charged phone
