We’re absolutely delighted that Glaisyers Solicitors LLP, a Manchester based legal firm, have announced that they will be supporting our work over the next 12 months. Along with fundraising to support local people living with dementia and carers, Glaisyers will also be providing volunteers to help us deliver and develop important services such as therapeutic activities. Not only will this directly impact the Manchester community, but it will also be a fantastic opportunity for Glaisyers staff to learn more about dementia.
Chris Burrows, head of private client at Glaisyers, commented: “In Together Dementia Support, we feel that we have found a charity that shares a similar ethos to Glaisyers Solicitors LLP and everybody in the firm is looking forward to doing their bit to help make a real difference to both the charity and those it supports. With over 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK, there are few that have not been touched by the disease in some way.”
Sally Ferris, founder of Together Dementia Support, said: “We are delighted to be working with Glaisyers Solicitors LLP and are very grateful for their support. Our groups and activities play such a key benefit to many across the region living with dementia. This support will allow us to build on our schedule of programmes and continue to deliver uplifting events to the community.”
Thank you to Glaisyers for the support, we look forward to working with you.
