We at Together Dementia Support are ace at doing Arts and Crafts. This year’s Christmas card was the work of one of our Friendship and Activities group. We colour, glitter and glue to our hearts content on whatever subject is the theme of the week. From stained glass window colouring from the Book of Kells, to creating our own poppies for Remembrance Day to making and decorating deva lamps for Divali in clay, we are up for it. Fabulous Forgetful Friends even curated Beyond Dementia an art collection centre exhibition that explored the lived experience of dementia, looking beyond the condition and highlighting the positives.
