Join Our Together In Song Choir

We’re looking for new members to join our much-loved Together In Song Choir, a relaxed and welcoming group that brings carers and people living with dementia together through the joy of music.

Meeting once a month in Whalley Range, the choir offers a friendly space to enjoy the uplifting benefits of singing together. Sessions include a mix of well-known and popular songs, gentle percussion, and even a bit of dancing when the mood takes us. There’s no pressure and no expectations, just come along and take part in whatever way feels right for you.

The Together In Song Choir has been running for over 10 years and has performed more than 30 times in venues including Manchester Town Hall and Manchester Cathedral. But for our members, it’s not about performance, it’s about connection, confidence, and feeling good.

As one choir member shared:

“I love the Choir, I always come away so energised and feel like singing and dancing for the rest of the day!”

  • When: First Saturday of every month, 2 - 3:30 pm (Please note: April’s session will take place on Saturday 11 April due to Easter weekend)
