For this weeks Thank You Thursday we’d like to say a massive thank you to our amazing Volunteer Co-ordinator Solomon for organising a volunteer social last Wednesday.
Solomon organised and coordinated a trip to HOME theatre to watch the theatre adaption of “I, Daniel Blake”. The volunteers who support our groups, together-at-home clients and dementia cafes are such an important part of TDS and such a valued part of our community, giving their free time and support to others. The trip to the theatre was a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to meet up with each other and even if the play had us all in tears, there were so many connections made, bonding time for the volunteers and a lot of popcorn consumed that was made possible by Solomon’s hard work.
Thank you Solomon for your enduring commitment to managing volunteers and doing it with a smile on your face too!
